True fearlessness is not about having a perpetually clear sky.
Instead, even when the storm comes, we remain steadfast in our positions.
It's not that I never worry, but rather that I live in uncertainty.
I still choose to believe, give, and be grateful; I still choose to be light.
🌿A stick of incense, a gesture of gratitude to heaven, earth, and humanity.
On August 22, a torrential downpour hit the CGC base at the foot of Dawu Mountain.
In the afternoon, more than 120 family members from the north, central and southern regions of Taiwan and overseas gathered in the rain. They respectfully put their palms together and, as the incense rose, welcomed the arrival of the Pudu Gong (a deity associated with the salvation of all beings). They expressed their gratitude to heaven and earth, remembered their ancestors, and dedicated their compassion and goodwill to all sentient and insentient beings.
Outside the tent, the rain was pouring down, but inside, every heart was at peace.
🎶 Amidst the sound of rain, we sing our gratitude. Facing the sacred mountain of Dawu, accompanied by the patter of rain, we convey a kind thought, a compassionate heart, and a vow through our songs.
When the music of "Salvation for All Beings" begins, some people close their eyes and put their hands together, while others hold tightly to the "Fearless Warrior" banner. They sing to all the spirits of heaven and earth, and to every life that is experiencing suffering. They gather everyone's good intentions and aspirations, and through the song, they transform them into light that illuminates the world, blessing all beings with peace, wishing the world to be filled with love, and wishing that light will always be there.

When
"A Grateful Heart"
plays, we sing our love and longing to our parents and elders, and also to those who have left but still live in our hearts. Rain falls, and tears fall too; the gratitude and longing that we didn't have time to express are conveyed far and wide through the song.

We are grateful to Heaven and Earth, grateful to our ancestors, and grateful to all living beings. We are also grateful to every one of you who chose to walk with CCGC through thick and thin.
"Bring love back, spread love." We did it together that day. Years later, we will still remember that the rain was heavy that year during the Ghost Festival, but the love and light in our hearts will always shine. ✨
