EP05《Mother Earth Takes a Deep Breath》

Written by Ellie Huang , CGC Spokesperson , September 2026

In the column series The Heartbeat of the Universe is with You, we explored the intense geomagnetic storms and high-energy particle baptisms brought by "Solar Cycle 25." Many of you might have noticed that this stellar-level energy pressurization is quietly pulling at our inner anxiety and exhaustion. However, as the subtle movements of the macrocosm silently create ripples within our microcosm, Mother Earth—the cradle of all creation beneath our feet—is also synchronizing with the solar system, undergoing a profound resonance and transformation.

Looking back at the timeline, starting from New Year's Day 2024, when we entered the "Period Nine of the Purple Fire," from the magnitude 7.5 Noto Peninsula earthquake in Ishikawa, Japan, to the April 3 Hualien earthquake that touches the memories of the Taiwanese people, and the recent Kumamoto earthquake in Japan, up to the 7.7 magnitude strong quake in Indonesia on August 15, 2026—the world has recorded 25 major earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or above. Over 80% of this energy release has been concentrated along the tectonic edges of the Pacific Ring of Fire. This geological trajectory, outlined by real data, clearly tells us: the Earth is not static; this land that nurtures us is in the midst of a grand and intensive cycle of energy metabolism. Faced with these shocking statistics, we cannot help but wonder: "What is happening to the Earth?"

Earth scientists and seismologists point out that this is not the end of the world. Instead, based on observations and the cycles of Earth's dynamic systems, the Earth is currently in an active cycle of frequent earthquakes. Scientific research further reveals that after entering the solar maximum in 2025, solar storms not only increased variations in the geomagnetic field, but the gravitational pull and energy resonance between celestial bodies also indirectly catalyzed the Earth's internal energy metabolism, affecting the activity levels of tectonic plates and volcanoes. The energies of the heavens and the earth have always been an interconnected whole.

In truth, the Earth's vitality is far more active than we imagine. As early as 2019, the scientific community confirmed a beautiful observation: the Datun Volcano in Taiwan exhibits periodic seismic activity akin to an animal's "heartbeat," pulsating approximately every 18 minutes. If we add the "Schumann Resonance," the heartbeat of the Earth's atmosphere with a fundamental frequency of about 7.83Hz, all these authentic scientific data convey an incredible phenomenon: the Earth is alive. The Earth is not a cold, static rocky planet, but a massive living entity that breathes and has a heartbeat. When global plates collide, releasing massive stress accumulated over long periods, we call it an earthquake or crustal rupture in physical science; but on an energetic level, this is Mother Earth taking a deep breath and metabolizing.

Just as we experience short-term chaos and discomfort during a deep physical and mental detoxification, or when facing a decluttering process in our lives, the Earth is feeling the same right now. She is undergoing a grand transformation. To adapt to the higher frequencies of the future, she must release heavy, old energy blockages from within. These seemingly violent external plate and volcanic movements are, in fact, an inevitable self-regulation process for the Earth to assist in upgrading various energetic hardware and software and to pass through the growing pains of ascension.

Faced with the Earth taking a deep breath, we do not need to resonate with fear. Living in the refining era of the "Period 9 of the Purple Fire," the dramatic changes in the external environment are actually meant to accelerate the clearing and metabolizing of outdated baggage that is no longer suitable for the high-frequency world of the future. As a member of Earth's community of life, we can use a broader consciousness to understand this metamorphosis. When you feel the turbulence of the world or hear news of geological activities, you might as well softly say in your heart: "Mother Earth, thank you, I love you!" Thank the compassionate and great Mother Earth, Gaia, for selflessly bearing the gestation of life and witnessing the various evolutionary experiments advanced by different civilizations across time and space.

The long river of human civilization has historically caused varying degrees of damage to the mother planet. At this moment, the Earth is facing immense challenges from human consciousness, urgently requiring the return of energy from allied realms of co-participation to stabilize the imbalanced core energy. There is no time to delay. When we shift our inner frequency from "fear of disasters" to "understanding and gratitude," our intentions will have already injected a stabilizing light into the collective consciousness of this world. This tranquil power is precisely the gentlest support we can offer the Earth in this era.
